The Crown & Greyhound

73 Dulwich Village, LONDON, SE21 7BJ

With a tradition of service and hospitality reaching back to the 18th century, The Crown and Greyhound (nicknamed The Dog) counts Charles Dickens and John Ruskin amongst its celebrated patrons. In the olden days, the pub was split in two - The Crown served the gentry while The Greyhound housed the labourers. Modern day customers will find three bars and a restaurant in the heart of peaceful Dulwich Village. The weekly-changing menu might feature bean cassoulet with couscous, or an 8oz Angus burger with Cheddar cheese and potato wedges. There are daily salads, pasta and fish dishes, too.
