The Inn on the Green

34 The Green, INGHAM, LN1 2XT

This lovely old limestone building stands on the corner of a pretty village green at the foot of Lincoln Edge. Drinkers relaxing at garden tables and enjoying a real ale from Laneham or Grantham may be startled by the Red Arrows, practicing from nearby RAF Scampton. The pub's two bars and restaurant area exude the character that has gained it Grade II listing; an appealing destination in which to enjoy highly individual seasonal dishes crafted by a talented kitchen team. Perhaps there will be pan-seared cod with laksa and coconut rice; blade of beef, horseradish croquette and charred chicory; lemon curd and lavender meringue; or white chocolate croissant bread and butter pudding. A summer beer festival is held.
