The Dragon Inn

There has been a pub on the site for 300 years although the current building dates from 1900. It sits in pleasant countryside and open farmland on the outskirts of Hitchin, with easy access to the M1 and Luton Airport. The menu centres on Pan-Asian cuisine, offering plenty of favourites such as tempura prawns, sesame prawn on toast and sweet and crispy seaweed to start, followed perhaps by sizzling chicken with ginger and spring onion or squid in Szechuan sauce. Finish with fruit fritters in syrup.
