The White Horse Inn

The Street, HITCHAM, Ipswich, IP7 7NQ

The 400-year-old inn was originally a staging post between London and Norwich and once had a blacksmith's forge attached to the pub. Today, this rural village local is the perfect setting for quaffing Suffolk real ales - Rattlesden Best - playing traditional pub games and enjoying regular live entertainment. Freshly-prepared meals take in bar meals like roast beef and horseradish sandwiches and steak and ale pie, and baked sea bass and beef bourguignon on the evening menu. In summer, the beer garden is open for barbecues.
