The Butchers Arms

In the heart of the Broads, this quintessential beamed pub started life as three terraced cottages in the early 1800s. Today it's a timeless village pub, without jukebox or pool table; you'll just find 'Mavis', a 1954 Comma fire engine, parked outside. Landlady Julie Oatham has been here for over 20 years, and ensures a welcoming atmosphere. Real ales from local breweries are served alongside traditional favourites of liver, bacon and tomato casserole or steak, ale and mushroom pie. There is a beer garden and vine-covered patio for summer dining.
