The White Horse Inn

Gloriously unspoilt and unpretentious, a great survival of a village inn oozing character, beams, wizened wood and slab floors upon which may be spilled beers brewed in their own micro-brewery, together with others selected from Shropshire's many craft breweries. Heart-warming pub grub, derived from very local suppliers awaits visitors drawn to AE Housman's 'Quietest place under the sun'. A A4 sheet lists the provenance of pretty much everything on the menu, and none of it has come very far. Regular events take place here, including the Clun Valley beer festival each October.
