Bull Inn

A fine double-fronted, probably Victorian façade masks the splendid 15th-century beamed interior of this pub in one of Suffolk's prettiest villages. The atmosphere's good, the beers are from Adnams and a guest brewery, and the food's jolly decent too, with a menu listing perhaps rustic steak, mushroom and Irish ale pie; beer-battered fish and chips; smoked salmon and crayfish tagliatelle; and Mediterranean vegetable lasagne. Sunday roast may be selected from joints of beef, pork, lamb, chicken and turkey. Dogs are welcome downstairs in the public bar and in the garden.
