The Crown Inn
Bridge Road,
BROUGHTON,
Huntingdon,
PE28 3AY
In the mid-19th century, this picturesque village inn incorporated a saddler's shop, thatched stables and piggeries. The livestock has long gone, and today it focuses on being a popular village pub and restaurant at the heart of a thriving local community. The bar offers real ales from local breweries, and you'll also find Aspall cider. The restaurant combines a traditional pub look with contemporary design and it's here you'll be able to eat modern European dishes cooked using the best sustainable fish caught by day boats, the highest quality meats, and excellent seasonal vegetables. Menus change regularly, so when you visit you may find one offering starters of crispy duck salad or mussels cooked with bacon and beer. Typical main courses are slow-cooked blade of beef with horseradish mash, or braised rabbit in cream and rosemary with bubble and squeak. Round off with nougat parfait and berries or profiteroles. Now under new ownership.

We tried the pub again as we knew a new management team had just taken over this week. Well what a difference! The pub has been renovated to make it seem alot more homely and welcoming. Lots of individual touches and soft furnishing now!
The new managers were very friendly and attentive.
The meal was delicious and to a very high standard, food service impeccable, a real treat.
good to see the pub getting back on its feet after a lull.
Well done to the new team!
