Part of the regenerated Mailbox area of Birmingham, a short walk from the National Indoor Arena and Symphony Hall, this large canalside bar has a traditional pub feel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With five to seven real ales on tap and a vast range of wines, it has become a popular meeting place for locals and tourists alike. The bar menu is a mix of pub classics and modern British dishes, from bar bites, sharing plates, pies or speciality sausages with a choice of mash, to steaks, fish and chips and vegetarian options. There is also a restaurant, a wine bar, sporting events on TV, and a DJ on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.
