An ICMV is a translation of your vehicle registration document (V5c)
The International Certificate for Motor Vehicles (ICMV) is a translation of your vehicle registration document (V5c) required by some countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).
An ICMV is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and is issued in accordance with the Road Traffic Convention of 1926.
If you have been advised by the official authorities of the country you are visiting that an ICMV is required then you can apply for one from the AA's International Motoring Department.
For an application form please email your request to IMS@theAA.com or alternatively you can telephone us on 01256 493806.
We can only issue an ICMV against a UK registered vehicle.
