Royal Bath & West Show

The southwest's premier agricultural event, the Royal Bath and West Show is held at a dedicated showground in Shepton Mallet and features the best in livestock, food and country produce - a fun family day out.

At this year's show the AA will be represented with a full brand presence. Our stand is next to Green Entrance, off Green Car Park off the A37.

All the major AA businesses will be represented – AA Driving School , AA Insurance, Membership sales, Road Operations, Publishing, as well as two of the AA's historic vehicle fleet.

Prize draw

There is a prize draw, open to AA Members and the general public, with three valuable prizes:

  • 1st prize, a Virgin Balloon Flights Adventure Pack for Two - worth over £500
  • 2nd prize, a weekend away for two at a choice of Cotswolds Inns & Hotels - worth over £300
  • 3rd prize, a case of 12 bottles of wine from Virgin Wines - worth over £100

We will also be offering complimentary hospitality (tea & coffee) for AA Personal Members on production of your yellow AA Membership Card.

Other attractions

The main ring on the showground hosts a Military Tattoo and other thrilling displays which have, in previous years, included the likes of the Royal Signals White Helmets motorcycle display team, the Microlease aerobatics team, the Silver Eagles freefall parachute team and the Central Band of the Royal Air Force.

Further attractions include eagle and vulture shows, Pony Club games, beagle and foxhound parades and massed hot-air-balloon ascents. Livestock and horse-riding competitions are also part of the fun, alongside a myriad of sideshows and stalls.
