Accident Healthcare
Accident Healthcare is a low-cost private medical plan, which provides cover for private medical treatment if you are injured in a road traffic accident involving a moving vehicle in the UK.
If you are injured in a road traffic accident and your GP or hospital feels you need to see a specialist after you've received emergency NHS treatment, you'll receive prompt access to expert medical help.
Suitable for customers who don't have private medical insurance, the policy provides up to £1 million cover for each insured person.
Medical treatment covered by Accident Healthcare includes eligible:
- in-patient and day-patient treatment
includes hospital treatment, consultations and diagnostic tests - out-patient treatment
includes surgical procedures, scans, consultations and diagnostic tests - physiotherapy and other GP referred therapies
- Consultants' fees
Cover is available for you as the motor insurance policyholder and you can include your spouse/partner as a joint policyholder. Your children are also covered, as long as they are under 18 and unmarried.
