Very poor customer service when manager was questioned about quality of meal. Rooms were grubby, doors in main areas dirty. Waiting staff excellent. We will not return.

In the past 4 years we have visited the hotel for several meals in their restaurant and been very pleased with the food, the wine and the service. About a year ago the ownership changed hands, standards slipped and we stopped our visits. On the above date we decided to take coffee in the lounge. The coffee and service were excellent but the furniture has not been replaced; the chair covers are dirty and the springs are poor. We shall not go again.
