This well-established hotel enjoys an idyllic location overlooking the River Thames and the delightful Marlow weir. The bedrooms, which differ in size and style, are all individually decorated and are equipped with flat-screen satellite TVs, high speed internet and air conditioning; some rooms have balconies with views of the weir and some have four-posters. Aubergine (a sister restaurant to the restaurant of the same name in Chelsea) has three AA rosettes and offers modern French cuisine; Bowaters serves British dishes and has gained two AA rosettes. In summer guests can use two boats that the hotel has moored on the river and the fishing is, of course, a popular activity - a ghillie can accompany guests if prior arranged. Staff throughout are keen to please and nothing is too much trouble.
