This impeccably presented 19th-century lodge with stunning views of the rolling South Downs is an ideal retreat. Both the restaurants in this hotel have been awarded three AA Rosettes. There is the traditional and elegant Camellia Restaurant that offers memorable, seasonal dishes, and the exciting new addition which forms a mini-restaurant in the kitchen itself; The Pass is an innovative take on the chef's table concept. The elegant lounge is popular for afternoon teas. Bedrooms are individually designed with character and quality throughout. Conference facilities are impressive.

We had our wedding at South Lodge and from booking to paying the final account, the team couldn't have been more helpful and professional. They really made the day the success it was - no detail was too much trouble.
