Close to the Winter Gardens and Blackpool's multiplicity of attractions, this personally-managed hotel has been in the Francis family for 40 years, and offers a range of room options. Premier and traditional rooms are comfortable and well presented, but it is the 'retro 70's' rooms that stand out. These offer the expected comfort along with clever nostalgic touches such as Goblin Teasmades, cabinet TVs, 70's magazines and décor, and wind-up alarm clocks. There's also a bar and lounge with pool, darts, a jukebox, TV and fruit machines. The bar also has an area dedicated to 'Old Blackpool'.
