Situated on a shelf of land at a height of 850ft. Magnificent views to the west. Moorland turf, long carries over ravine and small and quick greens. Not suitable for high handicap golfers.

The course is a fantastic test of golf and the 6th, par 3, 200 yards, stands out as not being for the faint hearted as you play over a ravine.
Overall the greens are some of the best I have played on and the views were just stunning. A real golfers course and one not be be missed.
One final word of warning though, if you can not hit the ball straight, Hallamshire may not be the right course for you.
