Originally part of the Hever Castle estate, set in 250 acres of Kentish countryside, the Championship course has matured well and, with the addition of the Princes' nine holes, offers stunning holes to challenge all golfers. Water plays a prominent part in the design of the course, particularly around Amen Corner, holes 11 through 13. The golfer is then met with the lengthy stretch home, especially up the 17th, a daunting 644yd par 5, one of Europe's longest.
