IDP Checklist
You must send a full photocopy (NOT THE ORIGINALS) of the following valid documents:

Your UK driving licence (if photocard licence, photocpy of the plastic photocard front and back and your counterpart),

or your UK pass certificate (certificate of competence to drive, valid for two years from the date of your test) and your provisional driving licence,

or your DVLA confirmation of entitlement to drive.

A recent passport sized photograph (45-50mm high x 35-40mm wide) on photographic paper signed on the back and showing full face against a light background.
Photograph checklist:
  1. Recent.
  2. Printed on photo quality paper on a plain background.
  3. A close up of head and shoulders.
  4. No other people or objects visible in the photo.
  5. Full face with eyes open.
  6. Sharp focus and clear.
  7. No reflection from spectacles if worn.
A photocopy of the page(s) of your passport displaying photograph and identification details.
Enclose a self-addressed envelope (maximum 240mm x 165 mm - Royal Mail's standard letter) no stamps required.
Original signed application form (licence holder's signature only). We are unable to accept completed applications which are photocopied or emailed.
Appropriate fees (which are a minimum of £7.50 per permit).

Should both permits be required please include two photographs and two fees (£7.50 each permit) with your application. No more than one permit of each type may be issued to an applicant.
