Applicants must be UK residents, aged between 23 and 69, have a minimum annual income of £10,000 and either be a homeowner or hold a debit, cheque guarantee, store or credit card.

The Co-operative Bank reserves the right to decline any application or offer a loan at a rate that differs from those advertised.
Credit cards
1 If you do not pay your balance in full we will use your payments to reduce lower-rate balances before higher-rate balances. If promotional rate balances are the same we will repay them in the following order: first, the one with the earliest expiry date; if the expiry dates are the same then the one which started first; if the expiry dates and start dates are the same then the one with the lowest standard rate.
2 Transferred within 90 days from account opening.
The AA Credit Card is arranged by AA Financial Services Limited (AAFS), registered in England and Wales number 912211. Registered Office: Fanum House, Basing View, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG21 4EA. AAFS is an Appointed Representative of Automobile Association Insurance Services Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority, registered number 525013. The AA Credit Card is issued by MBNA Europe Bank Limited. Registered office: Stansfield House, Chester Business Park, Chester CH4 9QQ. Registered in England number 2783251. MBNA's consumer credit activities are licensed by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) and our general insurance activities are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). To improve the quality of our service, we will monitor and/or record some telephone calls.
Savings
3 AER stands for annual equivalent rate and illustrates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and compounded once each year. As every advertisement for a savings product which quotes an interest rate will contain an AER, you will be able to compare more easily what you can expect from your savings over time. Gross is the contractual rate of interest payable before the deduction of income tax as specified by law.
The deposit-taker for the AA Savings Accounts is Birmingham Midshires, a division of Bank of Scotland plc, which is authorised for accepting deposits by the Financial Services Authority. Travel Currency Cards and Spend and Earn Card
4 The prepaid card is an electronic money product and although it is a product regulated by the Financial Services Authority, it is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. No other compensation scheme exists to cover losses claimed in connection with the prepaid card. This means that in the event that Newcastle Building Society becomes insolvent your funds may become valueless and unusable and as a result you may lose your money.
