This 18th-century landscaped garden, forest and nature reserve is the former home of the Bowes-Lyon family, with miles of walks through the wooded slopes and riverside of the Derwent valley. Discover hidden vistas, wildlife or wild flowers, or just enjoy a fresh seasonal Georgian style lunch in the Potting Shed Café. A perfect place for family adventures with a nature playscape and ropes challenge. Anglican weddings can be held in the unique Palladian Chapel. Various events throughout the year.
