Write a review

The Churnet Valley Railway runs through the hidden countryside between Cheddleton, with its Grade II Victorian station, and Kingsley and Froghall, with the newly built station and Canal Wharf. The journey incorporates Consall, a sleepy rural station and nature reserve, and Leekbrook with one of the longest tunnels on a preserved railway. Special Events include 1940s weekend in April, Ghost Train in October, and Santa & Steam in December. 2012 marks the railway's 20th anniversary.
