OLLERTON, NG22 9DF
At the heart of the wooded country park stand the remains of a 12th-century Cistercian Abbey, housing an exhibition on the life of a Cistercian Monk at Rufford. Many species of wildlife can be seen on the lake, and there are lovely formal gardens with sculptures, plus exhibitions of contemporary crafts in the gallery, children's play area, shops and catering.
