131 acres of ancient woodland and water garden with private broad. Excellent bird-watching from the boat. In spring there are masses of primroses and bluebells, with azaleas and rhododendrons in several areas. Candelabra primulas and some unusual plants grow near the waterways, and in summer the wild flowers provide food for butterflies, bees and dragonflies. Summer flowers include day lilies, ligularia, hostas, hydrangeas and flowering shrubs, including Viburnum Mariesii (Wedding Cake Viburnum), Cornus Kousa Chinensis and Cornus Florida Rubra. See website for details of special events.
