Take off to the Royal Air Force Museum London and soar through the history of aviation from the earliest balloon flights to the latest jetfighter, the Eurofighter. This is a world-class collection of over 100 aircraft, aviation/wartime memorabilia and artefacts, together with an impressive sound and light show, 'Our Finest Hour', that takes you back to the Battle of Britain. The 3D cinema, located in Milestones of Flight, will thrill children of all ages. Also visit the Aeronauts Interactive Centre, specially designed for younger visitors, offering hands-on entertainment, including cockpit controls, co-ordination tests, engine lifting, pilot testing and more. 2012 marks the 70th anniversary of the museum's foundation. See website for a full calendar of special events.
