HMS Belfast

Morgans Lane, Tooley Street, LONDON, SE1 2JH

Write a review

Europe's last surviving big gun armoured warship from the Second World War, HMS Belfast was launched in 1938 and served in the North Atlantic and Arctic with the Home Fleet. She led the Allied naval bombardment of German positions on D-Day, and was saved for the nation in 1971. A tour of the ship will take you from the Captain's Bridge through nine decks to the massive Boiler and Engine Rooms. You can visit the cramped Mess Decks, Officers' Cabins, Galley, Sick Bay, Dentist and Laundry.
