10-13 Preston Street,
FAVERSHAM,
ME13 8NS
Write a review
Expanded and updated, and housed in 16th-century premises, the Centre features colourful displays and room settings that vividly evoke the 2000 year history of Faversham. Special features include the 'Gunpowder Experience' and a working old-style village telephone exchange, one of only two remaining in Britain. In July, during the Faversham Open House Scheme, over 20 historic properties in the town are opened to the public. 2012 marks the 50th anniversary of the Faversham Society.
