Golden Valley Llamas

The Llama trek experience takes 3 hours. Help call the llamas in from the field, a bribe of a mouthful of their specialist feed, perhaps supplemented with some carrot might help, before feeding and haltering them. Learn how to groom a llama and receive a talk about them. Each llama, on its lead rope, will follow you as you set off at a gentle stroll on roads and across open land with delightful views. On return to the farmyard the llamas are rewarded with some more food before you release them to stroll back to their field.
