Corinium Museum

Park Street, CIRENCESTER, GL7 2BX

Corinium was one of Britain's largest Roman towns, and as such the museum is known for its Roman mosaic sculpture and other Roman material. The museum also features archaeological and historical material from prehistoric times to the 19th century from Cirencester and the Cotswolds generally, housing Medieval, Tudor, Civil War and 18th-19th century displays. Anglo-Saxon treasures from Lechlade bring this little-known period to life.
