Write a review

Historic railway buildings, including the station and train shed, have been relocated from sites all over Scotland. The Scottish Railway Exhibition tells the story of the development of railways and their impact on the people of Scotland. A return trip by steam train to the tranquil country station at Birkhill now includes crossing the River Avon Viaduct on to Manuel. Thomas the Tank Engine weekends in May, August and September, and Santa Specials in December. Booking is essential for these special events. (The 2 for 1 voucher cannot be used for Day out with Thomas or Santa Trains.)
