Set in a tranquil deer park along the Exe estuary. Built in 1391 by Sir Philip Courtenay, it has long been the family home of the Earl of Devon. There is a beautiful rose garden and spring walks through the woodland garden. Guided tours showcase the castle's intriguing history, majestic interiors and fine collection of treasures. Special events throughout the year.
