Dales Countryside Museum & National Park Centre

Station Yard, HAWES, DL8 3NT

It's a fascinating museum telling the story of the people and landscape of the Yorkshire Dales, with a static steam loco and carriages with displays. Added features include hands-on interactive displays for children, a Research Room, temporary exhibitions and special events. Activities for visitors of all ages, and an outdoor sculpture trail to follow. Its collection is enhanced by the inclusion of material donated by the local authors and historians, Marie Hartley and Joan Ingilby.
