Victorian gardens with a splendid fountain garden conservatory, tea room and the National Museum of Gardening. In the tranquil gardens and grounds, follow the progress of restoration projects, visit craft areas including handmade soap and toy workshops, explore Britain's largest and most comprehensive collection of antique tools, implements, memorabilia and ephemera, creatively displayed to illustrate how gardens and gardening influences most people's lives. Adventure play area for the youngsters, extended estate walk and viewing platform. Home of the national daffodil collection showgarden (flowering Jan-mid May). Special family events run every Wednesday during school holidays.
