Write a reviewThe Cambridge University Botanic Garden is a 40-acre oasis of beautifully landscaped gardens and glasshouses close to the heart of the historic city. Opened on its present site in 1846, the garden showcases a collection of some 8,000 plant species. This Grade II heritage landscape features the Rock Garden, displaying alpine plants; the Winter and Autumn Gardens; tropical rainforest and seasonal displays in the Glasshouses; the historic Systematic Beds; the Scented Garden; Herbaceous Beds and the finest collection of trees in the east of England.
