This 18th-century house, built of Bath stone, fell into decay in the 20th century, but was beautifully restored by Lord and Lady Iliffe in the 1950s. The classical front has a splendid central portico and pavilions, and inside there are delicate plasterwork decorations on the walls and ceilings. The Octagon drawing room has fine pictures and furniture, and there is a small formal garden. Please contact for details of special events.
