Part of the Durrell Wildlife Park, the camp consists of 12 canvas geo pods set in a beautifully landscaped area. Each pod, named after different Lemur species, is sited in its own separate area offering good privacy. Inside is a king-size bed, two singles, a wood-burning stove and clothing storage space. Set on wooden decking, the pods have their own additional pod with high quality toilet, wash basin and shower plus a spacious fully-equipped kitchen. Table and chairs on the decking can be brought into the kitchen if the weather's not so good. Smaller tipis are available for extra children or guests. Guests have complimentary access to the Durrell Wildlife Zoo and have use of the zoo's excellent Café Firefly, which serves breakfasts, lunches and early evening meals, plus takeaway pizzas and Thai food.
