Browns Farm Caravan Park
Browns Farm,
WOODBURY SALTERTON,
EX5 1PS
A small farm park adjoining a 14th-century thatched farmhouse, and located in a quiet village. Pitches back onto hedgerows, and friendly owners keep the excellent facilities very clean. The tourist information and games room, with table tennis, chess etc, is housed in a purpose-built building. The park is just a mile from the historic heathland of Woodbury Common with its superb views.

Called at site to enquire about staying for up to 4 weeks whilst house-hunting in the area. After being ignored by staff for some minutes, informed that they had so many bookings they could not entertain a long stay. No apologies or suggestions of alternative sites in the area.
Will not be getting any of my money in the near future.

Have visited this site many times - have always found the staff to be helpful, the facilities clean and the grounds immacualte.
If there was a downside - the heating in the shower block is not as effective as it might be - takes some time to warm the area during the winter months.
A bus into nearby Exeter and Exmouth stops just outside the camp gates - usefor for those with motorhomes - and runs several times during the day.
