A most attractive and well-designed site, set on the side of a narrow valley in an elevated location, with separate, neatly landscaped areas for statics, tents, touring caravans and motorhomes. There's good attention to detail throughout including the clean toilets and showers. Its backdrop of magnificent old railway viaduct and views over Buxton and the surrounding hills, make this a sought-after destination. There are eight static caravans, a pine lodge and two apartments available for holiday lets.

A beautiful campsite with a great playground for children. Shop does not open until 9am and closes at 5pm, so not great for camping essentials - like breakfast. Toilets not lit at night-time and can be a little scary for women going on their own. No noise after 10 o'clock, a little bit strict, especially as children don't go to sleep until 9-9.30. Great for older couples, not so great for families staying together. We will not be visiting again.
