The Post Office House was built in 1893 as a dedicated post office with its own sorting room and telegraph facilities. More recently it has been lovingly restored and made into a B&B. Inside are high quality fixtures, fittings and many thoughtful extras. Hospitality is excellent, and enhanced with home baking as well as the offer of some famous Lindisfarne Mead. Breakfast is a highlight of the stay. A wonderful location close to the coastal areas of Bamburgh and Seahouses but just a few minutes from the A1. The Cheviots are also in easy striking distance.
