Defect: On certain vehicles it is possible the power steering high pressure hose may contact the offside front rigid brake pipe. This could result in damage to the brake pipe with a resultant reduction in braking efficiency.
Action: Affected vehicles are being recalled for a check on the positioning of the pipes involved and adjustment of the pipe clearance where necessary.

Defect: On some Marea vehicles equipped with air conditioning, the fan supply cable could overheat resulting in the risk of fire.
Action: Recall affected vehicles and fit a new wiring coupling in the place of the section of faulty cable.

Defect: On a small number of Bravos, Bravas and Mareas 1.9-2.4 Tds vehicles, because of a problem in the suppliers production process a fault could arise on the brake servo vacuum unit resulting in a gradual loss of the power assisted braking, although the basic system would continue to operate.
Action: Recall affected vehicles and replace the brake vacuum servo with a quality assured unit.
