Defect: The engine bay hood secondary latch may remain in the open position, if the vehicle primary latch is not engaged during vehicle operation. This could allow the hood to fly open when the vehicle is being driven.
Action: Recall affected vehicles to fit a quality assured replacement secondary hood.

Defect: The attachment of the brackets connecting the hydraulic lift cylinder to the tailgate may progressively weaken. This could result in the bracket welds fatiguing with possible detachment from the tailgate.
Action: Recall likely to be affected vehicles for the fitment of strengthening plates to both lift cylinder bracket locations on the tailgate.
