Fine dining – with a twist

We’re holding a special member event at the beautiful 17th-century Lainston House Hotel – situated in the rolling Hampshire countryside – on Friday 9 August.

On arrival, you’ll enjoy a Champagne reception in the glorious setting of the hotel’s flourishing Kitchen Garden – which supplies the hotel’s chefs with the finest, freshest herbs, vegetables and fruit.

The garden is also home to Lainston’s Falconry Centre, where you’ll discover a variety of birds of prey – including eagle owls, harris hawks, a great grey owl and the impressive pure Kazakh golden eagle.

You’ll experience a private falconry display during the drinks reception, hosted by resident falconer – former Hampshire County cricketer, Billy Taylor.

Then it’s time to take your seats for a specially created, bespoke five-course tasting menu from The Avenue Restaurant’s head chef, Phil Yeomans. Each carefully chosen dish will be introduced by the restaurant's chefs, and will feature a wealth of stunning flavours.
