Sound cooking beside the Ironbridge gorge

Open all year
Wines by the glass
Wheelchair access

This small restaurant blends in with the terrace of souvenir and tea shops facing Abraham Darby's Iron Bridge World Heritage Site. Inside, however, the bare wooden floors, unclothed tables and high-backed toffee leather chairs provide an intimate brasserie look. Full advantage is taken of the local larder, which for dinner might feature a smoked ham hock terrine to start, followed by belly of pork stuffed with black pudding, kale, spiced red cabbage and a pomme puree and cider jus. Finish with a sticky toffee pudding.
