This long-time leader in gourmet vegetarian and vegan dining sits in a residential street in well-heeled Primrose Hill. Up-to-date decor with wooden floors and furniture gets a touch of class with designer wallpaper featuring silhouetted trees and birds and silver wreath-style light fittings. Carefully sourced produce is turned into vibrantly colourful dishes as the menu globetrots from Greek-style spanikopita tart with a salad of fennel, rocket, preserved lemon and dill salad, to a main course of wild mushroom ragù with chestnut polenta, seared kale, beetroot and horseradish slaw and parsnip crisps. For dessert, there's a light vegan take on sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
