This elegant 17th-century townhouse turned boutique hotel has two dining venues - Isla's Restaurant and Conservatory. Both have commanding views over manicured lawns to the sea, with large abstract artworks against a neutral backdrop of taupe and beige. A meal in the elegant, stone-toned Isla's Restaurant ranges widely over the island larder, progressing perhaps from an amuse of asparagus, peas, almond granola and mushroom ketchup to a roast rack and braised shoulder of lamb, crushed minted peas, wild garlic, pea purée, purple sprouting broccoli and lamb jus. Finish with a superb poached rhubarb pannacotta with rhubarb and ginger jelly, rhubarb sorbet and a sumac and rhubarb essence.
