'Tin' (and other metals) give the recently relaunched Etain restaurant its main theme, as it celebrates a decade of service. The contemporary style and cool pale colours set the scene for a seasonally changing menu with a good wine list. To start, seared scallops, red cabbage, apple dill and creme fraiche might then lead to a main course of loin of venison with black cabbage, beurre noisette, sunflower seed crumble and Huntsman sauce. Finish with a good-flavoured white chocolate pannacotta.
