A pin-sharp, contemporary-styled Asian-fusion restaurant in the pulsing heart of Glasgow. Big picture windows allow light to flood into a slick space where communal tables with high chairs share the space with conventional restaurant seating. Kwan Yu Lee has honed an on-trend mix of classical and modern Asian fusion dishes. An array of dim sum showcases basic skills, with steamed salmon, fennel and chive dumplings with a ginger dipping sauce full of evocative aromas. Next up, try a bowl of noodles such as one packed with tenderloin of pork, fine beans and bean sprouts, flavoured with Shaoxing wine and oyster sauce. Finish with mango jelly with coulis and cream.
