The white-painted Wild Boar is a classic inn with a host of stylish bedrooms, a smart bar, and a restaurant with an open kitchen at its heart. They even have their own on-site microbrewery. The dining area has oak beams and darkwood tables, which are lit by flickering candles in the evening. The menu includes local ingredients such as the full-flavoured sirloin steak, cooked just right and served with mashed potatoes and onion rings, or the game that finds its way into a raised pie. Their own-smoked products arrive on a deli board to share, and there's classic stuff like fish and chips too.
