This dynamic set up on Bristol's waterfront takes in a restaurant, brasserie, bar, deli, bakery and cookery school in a stylishly redeveloped dockland warehouse. The restaurant is on the first floor, with elegant table settings and fine wood alongside industrial pipe work, or you might opt for an alfresco meal on the terrace of the brasserie downstairs. Start with squid ink risotto with smoked haddock and a quail's egg, before salt marsh lamb (roasted and served with crispy bonbon, chermoula and fried polenta), or leek and saffron tart with Jerusalem artichokes, bitter leaves and toasted hazelnuts. To finish, pear tarte Tatin comes with star anise and molasses parfait.
