Surrounded by beautiful glens, The Drovers is the kind of wild place you want to be stranded when the weather closes in. Although a modern pub in many ways, the walls of antlers remind you this rustic bolt-hole has been around for many years. In the buzzy restaurant, the menu makes good use of what lives and grows locally and turns these fine ingredients into modern Scottish food. Chargrilled king scallops with pea purée, pancetta, apple and beetroot dressing might precede a main course of roast rump of lamb with sauté rosemary potatoes, roasted garlic, minted peas and smoked bacon.
